From Flower To Seed

Friday 30th November - Tuesday 4th December 2018

Initiation into the Goddess Archetypes
An opportunity to rest and recharge body, mind and soul. To meet other women and gain support by sharing and living together in community for 3 days and 4 nights.
Winter is the time to go within, time to pause and reflect and to begin to dream into our ideas and hopes for the year ahead.
This retreat is open for up to 8 women, we will be staying at Lower Northcott a stunning Georgian farmhouse, set on a working farm at Northcott and within walking distance of the beautiful North Cornish beach of Northcott Mouth. With breathtaking views throughout, The house has nine bedrooms and will allow each woman the privacy of her own room - these will be allocated on a first come first served basis - some will be ensuite, some will have double, twin or single beds with shared bathrooms. There are two lounges, wood-burning stoves and a large kitchen and dining room. Outside we have access to large informal gardens with two hot tubs offering views across to the sea.

Women intuitively understand one another. We share many similar life experiences so we naturally empathise with each other. When on retreat together, even if only for a few days this bond becomes so clear and its richness so healing. We come together as strangers and leave as sisters.

This year for the first time we will gather in the energy of the waning moon to explore the three archetypes of the Goddess. The Maiden, the Creatrix and the Crone.
The hearth Fires are burning, the nights have turned cold, and there is a yearning to discover something forgotten, to remember something hidden.
If you are hearing a call for deep introspection, release of old patterns, and clarity of purpose then this deeply nourishing four day retreat will guide you towards the healing of your goddess soul.
Through initiations we will call forth the wisdom and tools from ancient traditions and ancestry to support our personal exploration and evolution. As the heroine’s of our lives, we can follow the urge to break free and venture into new territory.
Gathering with like minded women, creating sacred space with simple and powerful ritual, we can learn to ask, allow, and receive inspiration. Our collective journey will be infused with storytelling, movement, shamanic quests, meditation, craft, and sound.
Set in the beautiful costal landscape of Cornwall we will explore how to work with the gifts of Mother Nature: including plant oils & tree energy, stones & crystals, the rhythms of the moon and seasonal cycles, traveling to the place of stillness inside that holds our deepest wisdomIn solitude we find the space to reconnect to ourselves, to rest, to heal and to hold those in retreat with us in a place of heart centred support.
We will be spending some time in circle working in the "Way of Council".
The ancient form of council embraces the sacred in all life and is a spiritual practice that moves one to a compassionate deeper level of communicating and being. Council is a way of speaking and of listening from the heart and over the three days you will receive a brief introduction to this form.
There will be many magical experiences over our weekend together
